Why Guests Love It

Our guests love our views across the Bay. Relaxing on the deck watching the sun go down over the sea with a glass of wine. Marvelling at the bright stars at night. Waking up to native bird song in the morning. They especially like the well set up and comfortable apartment, and our handy location to some of the best beaches and walks in the region.

Your Hosts

Shelley & Steve have been hosting Beau Vista since 2018. The Beau Vista apartment is very private with a separate entrance from the main house, so you’ll have the place all to yourselves. When you arrive we are happy to share tips on the best walks, beaches, cafes, and local events. Or if you prefer privacy, we’ll leave you to it — the space is fully yours.

Beau Vista Pohara is centrally located and just a few minutes drive to Pohara, Ligar and Tata beaches, 10 minutes to Takaka, and within easy reach of Abel Tasman National Park, Rawhiti Cave, Wainui Falls, The Grove, Te Waikoropupu Spring, and even Wharariki and Farewell Spit.
